HAITH'S ORIGINAL NECTARBLEND - 1kg

Long ago, before the Internet was invented, some very inventive carp anglers theorised that high fat bird feeds might make a suitable addition to the growing list of ingredients that attract carp. It helped that certain such feeds could be used to create a bait that would be attractive and nutritious, and be a terrific binder into the bargain. Before long the Trinity of such feeds was being whispered about in the secret world of the 'specimen hunter' and birdfood boilies were invented.

Nectarblend is one such bird feed, along with Red Factor, Egg Biscuit and CLO. These are just a few of the Classic feeds we supply to carp anglers and to the bait making trade. They are all classed as 'high fat' ingredients, a point that was grasped quickly by the trade, as fat has a sparing effect on protein, allowing a higher proportion of the latter to be used nutritionally by carp. Nectarblend is a fabulous nutritional binding agent for method mixes, ground baits and boilies and after Robin Red, is probably our most popular bird food fishing bait ingredient.

Bait making tip:

Make a hook bait from the Nectarblend paste by moulding it around a cork ball or plastic bead.
